A feast for the senses, A Carnivale - Cirque de Gymnastique is a must-see that will not be soon forgotten. Innovative, imaginative, and brimming with strength and skill, this is entertainment that can’t fail to impress every member of the family. People of any age will be fascinated by the visual festival of spectacularly colourful costumes, pumping music, and amazing performances in a fusion of dance, gymnastics, and thrilling circus stunts. The action is literally non-stop; stilt-walkers give up the floor to a synchronised trampoline team, highly skilled dancers and tumblers are followed by Alli Chambers on tissu. She elegantly uses the aerial silks to wrap, suspend, swing, spiral and drop her body into an incredible variety of positions. There’s no time to catch the breath as more exciting displays of athleticism, coordination and flexibility, tumble, roll on German wheels, see-saw and move about the floor with precision and grace. There’s also stunts, funky dancing, cheerleading and human pyramids amongst the dynamic performances. But arguably the star of the show is Joanna Nagle-Mcmenamin singing an aerial lullaby – Dream a little Dream of Me – as she flawlessly, stylishly and dramatically stuns the audience with her tissu routine.
