Amelia Zander is one of three Adelaide cartographers to help compile Earth, a large-scale atlas of the world which costs $5000.
The limited-edition Earth contains 355 maps of 194 nations, weighs 19kg and its 580 silver-lined pages measure 610mm by 469mm.
Ms Zander, Stewart Adrian of Carto Graphics and John Firth of Flat Earth Mapping, put together the Europe physical and Africa physical pages of the atlas.
“SA is very lucky to have such talented cartographers working here,” said Carto Graphics manager Alex McGregor.
Two thousand copies of Earth were released world-wide with 200 in Australia. A smaller standard edition sells for $170.
