A woman awarded almost half a million dollars in South Australia's largest sex harassment payout has pleaded guilty to dole fraud.
Malgorzata Poniatowska will be sentenced next month after admitting to 17 counts of defrauding Centrelink.
Poniatowkska last month was awarded $466,000 by the Federal Court after a sex discrimination case against the state's largest home builders, the Hickinbotham Group.
In the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday, Poniatowska pleaded guilty to 17 counts of obtaining financial advantage for self from another person.
The 42-year-old will be sentenced next month.
No evidence was tendered but court documents show the charges relate to 17 Centrelink payments for single parent benefits.
The payments were received by the Polish-born mother of two between August 2005 and May 2007.
Poniatowska was sacked by the Hickinbotham Group in 2006, but launched court action alleging sexual harassment and wrongful dismissal.
The Federal Court found she was subjected to unwanted sexual advances from two Hickinbotham co-workers, and was sacked for complaining to bosses.
The court was told she worked for the home building company between 2005 and 2006.
The Hickinbotham Group, which maintains Poniatowska was sacked for poor work performance, is appealing the judgment which awarded her $466,000 - a record in a sex harassment case in SA.
