Smith looks for more runs against Redbacks

11 Mar, 2010 07:43 AM
New Australian Test tourist Steven Smith will be looking to continue his golden run with the bat on day two of the Sheffield Shield cricket clash against South Australia at the SCG.

New South Wales will resume their first innings on five for 332, with Smith unbeaten on 72.

Smith, who was yesterday named in the Australian squad for the two-Test tour of New Zealand, will be looking for his fourth first-class century of the summer, but his first at the SCG.

Wicketkeeper Peter Nevill is the other not out batsman on 32, having added 87 so far with Smith.
