Adelaide midfielder Nathan Van Berlo and defender Nathan Bock have been ruled out of Friday's AFL elimination final against Essendon.
Van Berlo's missed today's final training session with a back complaint and although Bock, who has been sidelined with a heel injury for a month, took part in some of the session he left the field after a brief discussion with coach Neil Craig.
Craig says Van Berlo is a big loss due to his strong record for Adelaide in finals matches.
